A student giving back to his community.
My name is Oscar Castellucci. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, in Marin County, and now I’m a UC Davis student who fell in love with this town: the bike paths, the farmers market, and neighbors who wave hello. Davis Shine is my way of giving back.
Before starting Davis Shine, I gained hands-on experience working for Brightside Marin Exterior Cleaning and the youth business, so I know how to do the job carefully and well.
Between classes and on weekends, I help families, seniors, and local businesses keep their windows bright. Every job helps pay for school, and I treat every home as if it were my own.

Good questions.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Just clear the window sills and move anything fragile away from the glass. I bring all the tools and supplies.
Do you clean screens and tracks?
Yes. Screens get a gentle wash and tracks get vacuumed and wiped as part of every full-home cleaning.
What about second-story windows?
Most second-story windows on Davis homes can be reached safely with a water-fed pole from the ground. If one can’t, I’ll tell you up front.
How do I pay?
You pay after the job is done and you’ve checked the windows. Nothing is charged when you request a quote.
